The Academy of Worship Arts began in 2009. The Worship and Arts staff at that time felt the need to offer a way to experience the arts specifically centered on worship and the God who created all things.
In the Academy atmosphere, we attempt to foster the talent of the student as well as the spirtual well-being of that student.
The church benefits from this, as well. We are able to offer private and class lessons centered on God, and then in turn, students will take that connection with them into their world.
The Academy provides excellent training, helps to meet spiritual needs of students and helps develop future leaders that hold Christ as the center of their life. The Academy also aids in the development of students in the areas of self-esteem, skill, social interaction and accomplishment.
We also believe that through a Christian environment with instructors of faith, children and adults may best experience and achieve their desired level and quality of performance in their chosen art discipline. Our goal is that they see their art form as a vehicle to worship God, and we have assembled a fine staff based on their faith, people skills, and talent to help us meet our goal.
