It’s time for Game Night on Friday, April 30th! The evening will consist of fun games, food from Johnny Carinos, and some great discussion on dealing with your family. It will be a night you won’t want to miss. It will be from 6-8:30 p.m. in the Middle School Room. Register with a blue and white envelope by Sunday, April 25th so we can get enough food! Cost is $10.
Jobs Transition Spring Boot Camp

On Saturday May 15th, from 9-11, in the Middle School room, join us for a panel discussion on key job search elements including: resume writing, interviewing, and keeping control of your financial situation. Experts will be available afterwards for Q & A and for review of resumes. Plans for the Transitions Ministry and available support will be shared. The Boot Camp is open to the public. Our Senior Sunday Service will be May 16th to honor our high school seniors during both morning services. We also have a dinner that night that is open to families. The cost is $10 per person. Dennis Jernigan is coming on Monday night, May 10th, celebrating a big THANK YOU to Henderson Hills! Hamburgers and hotdogs will be served by Transformation Recovery Ministry on the Village Green at 5:30; $3 per person, $10 max per family. The concert will begin at 7:15 p.m. in the Worship Center. First Ever STOMP Friday Night Party

We are having our first ever STOMP Friday night party on April 30th from 6-9:30 in the Activity Center. This party is free for all 1st-5th graders who come to STOMP each Wednesday night. We’re going to have dinner, play games, rehearse for the STOMP Musical (which is the following Wednesday night) and have a couple of surprise events. Come join us for a night of excitement!
PreSTOMP Program “God’s Big Backyard”

Wednesday night, April 21st, at 7 p.m. in the Activity Center, our PreSTOMP children will present “God’s Big Backyard”. They will be singing and sharing about the greatness of God and praising Him for His love for us. PreSTOMP children will meet in their rooms at normal time, 6:30 p.m., and then will begin their program at 7 p.m.. Join us on that night to hear some of our youngest children praise the Lord!

DivorceCare Needs Male Facilitators

DivorceCare works best when facilitated by a male and female team. Two more male facilitators are needed for this ministry. Facilitators commit to meeting weekly from 7:45-9 p.m. for a 13-week period once a year (twice at most). This ministry is very fulfilling as you will be helping people who are going through some of the most devastating times they will experience.
Café Help Needed

Every week lots of visitors to our café begin connecting to Henderson Hills as they are warmly welcomed by our café staff. We currently have two café openings. We need a volunteer on the third shift to serve food and help close down the food line, from approx. 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., every other Sunday. Interested? Please contact Ashley.
International Student Housing

Route 66 Project Food Drive

Help us stock the food pantry for the Route 66 Project, a new non-profit ministry providing food and clothing to those in need. Bring non-perishable food items to church the weekends of April 17th/18th and 24th/25th and leave them in sacks behind your car. Volunteers will pick the items up. Route 66 Project is also having an Open House on April 17th/18th from 1 – 3 p.m on Highway 66 across from the Round Barn.

Middle School Camp is for 6th – 8th grade students to enjoy a week of spiritual growth and fun at Camp WOW on May 31st – June 4th. Students will have a great time with friends and meet new people in a small group and rec. Nathan Holliday is leading worship and Chris Newkirk will teach. Pre-Memorial Marathon Pasta Dinner

Invite your running buddies to a dinner in the High School Room on Saturday, April 24th at 4:15 p.m. Mark Wood, elder and nine time finisher of the Memorial Marathon, will share about life’s marathon. Cost is $10 per adult and $5 per child payable at the door. Then worship with us on Saturday night prior to the race. Reach out to a friend who loves to run but may not regularly attend church. The registration deadline is April 22nd.
New York Mission Trip

Kim Swyden will lead a medical and VBS team to New York from July 10th – 16th. There are 15 spots available on this mission trip. We specifically need dentists and ophthalmologists on this trip. There will be an informational meeting on Wednesday, April 28th, at 7:45 p.m. in W-201.

Are you ready for an out-of-this-world adventure? You won’t want to miss this year’s Cosmic City Vacation Bible School the week of June 14th-18th, 9-noon. Cosmic City is a fun and interactive learning experience for kids who have completed K-5th grade. Preschool Vacation Bible School is also available for the children of VBS volunteers. To volunteer or register stop by the VBS tables in the Gathering beginning April 17th/18th.

During Missions Month, a weekly offering will be taken to support the ministries of: Lottie Moon, Ministries of Jesus, our Spanish ministry, our missions internship, and international mission trips. Missions is always a sacrifice, therefore this offering should be above and beyond what we give to our regular offerings. We believe God will honor and multiply when we give sacrificially to His work here and around the world. Prayerfully consider how God would have you give.

Our yearly Men’s Retreat is May 7th-8th in Chandler,OK at Jacob’s Ladder Camp. Over 200 guys young and old, will enjoy activities like a 55’ climbing wall, clay target shooting, archery, Frisbee golf, fishing and basketball. Speaking of basketball Grant Long, a TV commentator for the OKC Thunder, will be our guest speaker, as well as Doug Dees, author of ReSymbol.
