Many factors can cause the holiday blues that may lead to depression, stress, loneliness, financial burdens, unrealistic expectations, over-commercialization, and the inability to be with one’s family and friends. Even more people experience post-holiday let down after January 1st. For a safe place to connect with others having similar struggles, join us Monday nights at 6:30 p.m. in the Middle School room.

ENGAGE

The Unreached People Group
Abby Blazs, 405.513.7554
There are people groups around the world who have never heard the name of Jesus. These Unreached People Groups (UPG) are unaware of the Gospel, and most do not have the Bible in their language. Teams from Henderson Hills have been working towards adopting one of these UPGs. Please pray for the teams who are visiting and praying about certain locations and people groups. Pray that the Lord will give the leaders of the church clarity and peace about the people group the Lord is calling us to adopt.

OTHER

Year-End Giving
Vanda Wall, 405.513.7510
At this time of year many members elect to give a tax deductible, year-end contribution to the church. Contributions to the General Fund have a direct and positive impact on people’s lives. Gifts credited to 2011 taxes can be given through December 31st either at the Church Office (open 8 a.m.–5 p.m. Saturday), hhbc.com prior to midnight, or postmarked by the 31st. Thanks in advance for your generosity.

SMALL GROUPS

How to Find a Small Group

1. Go to the Information Kiosk in the lobby.
2. Pick up a CONNECT booklet with a listing of adult Small Groups.
3. Ask if you need help or recommendations.
