New Small Group for Women

There is a new small group for Women on Saturday evenings. This Small Group is for women, married or single, ages 40 and up. It will meet in W-102 after the Saturday night service at 6:45.

Vacation Bible School

This year’s Cosmic City Vacation Bible School at Henderson Hills is the week of June 14th-18th, 9 a.m.-12 p.m. Kids who have completed K-5th grade will get to explore the awesome wonder of God! Preschool Vacation Bible School is also available for the children of VBS volunteers. Stop by the VBS tables in the Gathering for more information as well as an updated list of requested donation items for VBS.

Waiting Moms’ Group

A new group of waiting moms is meeting on Monday nights at 7:30 p.m., at Vintage Coffee on 33rd and Western. This group is for any woman waiting to be matched with her child, whether this be through adoption or foster care. We meet to encourage, pray for, and help each other prepare for bringing home a child. If you are interested in joining, or for more information contact Courtney Shettron.

Mom and Son Event

Moms, looking for something to do with your son that you’ll both enjoy? Join us for a RedHawks game on June 4th. This includes pictures with Rowdy, the RedHawk mascot, autographs from two players, and fireworks after the game. Tickets are $12 and can be purchased at the Women’s Kiosk through May 30th, or at the Church Offices. Get your ticket today before they’re all gone!

Discovery Group for Newcomers

Special Needs Camp

Calling all special needs children 8 years and older who want to spend a fun spirit filled week at Camp Perfect Wings in McAlister, OK. You will enjoy archery, crafts, music, climbing wall, paddle-boats, canoeing, zip line, low ropes challenge, Bible study, worship and much more. It will be from July 6th-July 9th, the cost is $140.00, and you can register at bgco.org/campperfectwings.

The Discovery Class Series help members and guests learn about our church, basics of spiritual growth, and how use gifts God has provided for ministry. Discovering Henderson Hills is at 7 p.m., Saturday, June 5th or 10:45 a.m. Sunday, June 6th and Discovering How to Grow (Spiritual maturity) and Discovering How to Serve (Spiritual Gifts) are at 5 p.m. on Sunday, June 6th.

Did you know that Henderson Hills has several members who are no longer physically able to worship, study the Bible, or fellowship with us on campus? The Homebound Ministry’s mission is extending ministry beyond the buildings and into the homes of those unable to attend. Find out how your FLOCK can minister to a homebound person in just one hour a week at a training session at 4 p.m. on May 23rd at the Church Offices.

Nurse Volunteer Needed at Ministries of Jesus

MOJ needs a volunteer nurse to assist with administrative tasks – coordinate patients’ meds with signed prescriptions for the Medication Assistance Program and facilitate test results/review medical records following patient visits to the clinic. This work is vital to the smooth operation of the medical clinic, and yet the volunteer commitment is completely flexible and only a couple of hours each week. Middle School Camp

This weekend is the registration deadline for Middle School Camp! Camp is for 6th–8th grade students to enjoy a week of spiritual growth and fun at Camp WOW on May 31st-June 4th. Students will have a great time with friends and meet new people in a small group and rec. Nathan Holliday is leading worship and Chris Newkirk is the camp speaker. The cost is $325 and you can register with a blue and white envelope or online at thefray.hhbc.com.

High School Camp is Coming!

Come join us at high school camp July 25th-31st. We call this camp Beach Week because we are literally on the beach in Panama City Beach, Florida. Registration is open and spots are limited. Gage Mission Trip

The deadline to sign up for the Gage mission trip is this Monday, May 24th. There will be trip training on June 9th, 16th, and 23rd at 7:45 p.m. in W-200. This trip includes VBS, service projects, and much more! Trip dates are July 10th-16th and the cost is $150 per person. Contact Lauren to sign up.
