Welcome to the Children’s Ministry at Henderson Hills! We love children and want to introduce them to Jesus. We also understand that having FUN is a big deal to children,
and we firmly hold to the philosophy that elementary children’s learning times can be both fun and educational.
Weekend Small Groups
On weekends we offer small-group sessions (FLOCKs) in which children are taught basic Bible truths. The curriculum is designed specifically for elementary-aged children and is fun, creative, and biblically based. We want to spark a desire in young children’s spirits to learn more about Jesus and how to have a personal relationship with Him.
“Extreme”
“Extreme” is an additional children’s session on weekends. During the large-group time of Extreme, kids enjoy worship through drama, singing, movement, story interaction, and Bible teaching. Extreme also includes small-group time, where kids of a common grade meet with an adult leader. They learn to apply biblical truths through activities and discussions of the weekly Bible lesson. Extreme Bible lessons are different but complementary to those taught in regular small groups.
We also provide “God-Time,” an interactive tool for parents and kids to help reinforce the lessons throughout the week.

Activities & Events

STOMP—Children’s worship program, Wednesdays, 6:15 to 7:45 p.m. during the school year.
Vacation Bible School—a wonderful, week-long program of creative Bible study, worship,and fun held each June.
Kids’ Kamp—a four-day summer camp available for children who have completed 3rd through 5th grade. Campers experience Bible study, worship, and lots of activities in the Oklahoma outdoors.
Locker Room—a special incentive for kids to “lock” God’s Word in their hearts, by attending Extreme, bringing a Bible, and memorizing the weekly Bible verse and a monthly verse.
