College Ministry

The College Ministry at Henderson Hills encourages students to grow in their relationship with God and each other through Biblical teaching, relevant events, and community building Small Groups. Whatever stage of life you're in, we want you to grow spiritually, find answers, and make friends. But, more than anything we want you to know God.

College Ministry offers:

College Small Group – 6:30 p.m. Thursday Nights

We have begun a new small group study for college students on Thursday nights at 6:30 p.m.  Each week you can come and enjoy a free home-cooked meal as well as fellowship with other college students as you study God's Word together.  To stay informed about all that is going on, join our  Facebook group.  We will meet each week at Bobby's house at 1717 W. 24th street.  Use this map for clear directions.  Bring a friend and join the fun!
For more information contact Bart Sego.

Mentors for College Students

If you are a college student and interested in meeting regularly with an adult or upperclassman about spiritual growth, then we want to help you find a mentor. This is a great way to step up your walk with God and get help from someone who is a little farther down the road of life.  Contact Bart Sego if you are interested.

Service Opportunities for Students

There are a number of ways College students can get involved in helping serve at Henderson Hills in Stillwater. We have options that involve weekly commitments with preparation, one-time projects, and everything in between.  Serving is a great way to get to know more people and become connected with the church family. Let us know what area of ministry you are interested in and how you would like to help. To get started or just talk about it, contact Bart Sego.

International Students

Small Groups

Our International and College students meet on Sunday mornings at 10:45 a.m. at Henderson Hills in the Choir Room to fellowship with one another and study God's word. Our goal is to introduce International students to Christ, build and establish their faith, and send them out to others.

In-Home Bible Study

Each week our International Students meet at Bill and Kathryn Spurgeon's house for fellowship and Bible study. It is on Wednesday nights at 7:30 p.m. at 600 Holly Drive Edmond, 73034.

The House

What is "The House?" God has blessed us with our own house on the campus of UCO. It is a place where students minister and are ministered to. It is a house that we can call our own, both for American and International students. We would like for everyone to be a part of the house and to use the gifts the Lord has given you to make "The House" all that God intends for it to be. It is located at 232 E. Hurd (street next to Thompson Bookstore). Feel free to come and visit "The House."

Ministry House

What is The House?

Two different people had the same vision, the same dream, to see God move in a radical way on the campus of UCO, a vision to see God open an avenue of ministry to both the American students and over 1500 International students who study abroad at UCO each year. God is at work. The Provider answered countless prayers by providing a house on campus for this vision to become a reality, a house where the College and International Ministry can come together to present the love of God to a watching, waiting world.

A faithful church member purchased a house near campus and sacrificially gave it to our church so that both American and International students can truly do ministry and get ministered to on the university grounds. Ministry happens in a variety of ways. There are Bible studies, prayer groups, lunch and service to students, evangelism, and basically ministry TO the students BY the students. This house is a place in which Christians and non-Christians can come and be subjected to the unconditional love and acceptance of our loving Heavenly Father.

The house is located at 232 E. Hurd in Edmond.
