Girls Retreat Recap

Last weekend was Henderson Hills' second annual Girls Retreat and God moved in a mighty way! More then 140 girls attended the event and it was so amazing to get to hang out with them over the weekend. Sandy Stiles was the speaker and she did an amazing job of teaching the girls about God's redeeming love and how to battle Satan's lies. The girls learned how to recognize the lies and use the power of scripture to conquer them in their daily lives.

The girls had a blast as they ate snacks, battled each other on an enormous inflatable obstacle course, painted canvasses in the art room, and hung out with their friends. We as a student ministry staff are so thankful for all of the women and men who volunteered to help make this event possible. Without volunteers, retreats like this could not happen.
