Instrumental Ministry
Each week, we get the opportunity to influence the Body of Christ at Henderson Hills to celebrate and draw near to God. That's pretty overwhelming and exciting at the same time! We are learning that our personal worship directly impacts the worship of others. Our job is to lead people into a genuine encounter with the God of the Universe each time we have the opportunity.
The Worship Band leads in worship in each weekend service and on Wednesday nights. The Worship Orchestra leads the church in worship at the two Sunday morning services, as well as at special events, including A Henderson Hills Christmas and Weekend of Praise. In addition to sharing their musical abilities, members get a chance to be part of a community of believers that prays for each other, studies the Bible together, and just has fun. We are always looking to expand and include the musicians God has brought here to Henderson Hills, so we encourage you to come join us! Because of the musical demands of our services, we ask that our instrumentalists have at least high school level experience. The Worship Band and Orchestra rehearse Wednesday nights at approximately 7:30 p.m. - just after the evening service concludes.
