Kid's Kamp
HHBC's Children's Ministry puts on a camp for kids who have completed the third, forth and fifth grade every summer at the 1400-acre Sky Ranch at Cave Springs near Quapaw, Oklahoma. This year's camp is Monday, August 4th- Thursday, August 7th, 2008; we will leave early Monday morning and return Thursday afternoon.
Cost of Camp
A deposit of $80 holds your rate and are non-refundable. The rates are: "Early Bird Special", $ 185, good Thursday, May 1st- Friday, May 30th; "Sooner than Later", $195, good Saturday, May 31st- Friday, June 27th; and "The Late Bloomer", $230, good Saturday, June 28th- Friday, August 1st.
We want everyone to go to camp so scholarships are availible.
The cost for camp includes food at camp, board lodging, transportation, three options, and a t-shirt. Extra money can be brought to camp to buy passes to use Sky Ranch's free-time activities and snacks during the day.
Registration
Kids who have completed the third, forth and fifth grades can register. There will be registration in the Gathering on the weekends begining May 17th and in the Gathering during Vacation Bible School week, June 9th- 13th. If you register online, a form will be filled out for you, but two release forms will need to be signed in order for your child to attend camp. Register online here.
Adult and Student Sponsors can register online here. A Children's associate will be contacting you for confirmation and any additional information that may be needed. Mandatory Adult Sponsors' meeting is Wednesday, July 16th at 7:45 p.m. at the church. Mandatory Student Sponsors' meetings are at the church from 3 - 5 p.m. and are on Mondays: June 9th, June 30th, July 14th, and July 28th.
Parent's Meetings
Parents will attend one of the two mandatory Parents' meetings, which are Wednesday, July 23rd or Sunday, July 27th. The total cost of camp is due at the last Parents' meeting; at this meeting, a group picture and/ or a camp DVD can be purchased, themes for the theme nights will be told, as well as other valuable information.
Bring a Buddy
Invite a friend to camp, who does not attend HHBC, and your child's name will be entered in the nightly drawing for great prizes. Ask about "Brought a Buddy" postcard to sign up!
