Making Peace with Your Past

Making Peace with Your Past is a support-group study to help adult children who grew up in dysfunctional families—particularly in homes in which one of the family members had emotional needs so strong that they disrupted the development of healthy relationships. This twelve-week study, which follows Tim Sledge’s book Making Peace with Your Past, offers practical, biblically based guidance to lead adults to identify and come to terms with the feelings and problems caused by growing up in a dysfunctional family. Participants will learn to understand problems from their past and identify and remove the emotional, psychological, and spiritual barriers to fellowship with God.

The Making Peace with Your Past support-group study is usually offered twice a year. The fall session usually begins the first Monday after Labor Day, and the winter session usually begins the third Monday of January. Watch for more specific information closer to the starting dates.
