Do you want to share in another woman's life by using what God has done in your life to encourage her in her Christian walk? Or are you a woman who has been feeling the need to talk to another Christian woman who has been in your shoes and with Gods help made it through and wants to encourage you at this time in your Christian life? Then consider joining our women's mentoring program.
Women's Mentoring is a ministry designed to encourage women of all ages to grow in their faith and to develop a deeper intimacy with the Lord through mentoring relationships based on the truths found in Titus 2:35: Older women likewise are to be reverent in behavior, not slanderers or slaves to much wine. They are to teach what is good, and so train the young women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled, pure, working at home, kind and submissive to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be reviled.
Mentoring sessions are offered twice a year in April and October. Each session begins with an orientation, where all mentors and mentees are introduced and receive a thorough introduction to the program. Time for Q & A is included. A few days later we host our Mentoring Kick-off Evening, where mentees receive their mentor-mentee pairings.
All participants must be able to attend both events and make a six-month commitment to the program. Mentors must have been a member of Henderson Hills Baptist Church for at least six months.
We began a NEW SESSION of Mentoring on October 1st, be watching here for the spring session registration at the beginning of the new year.
