The name Strive comes from Philippians 1:27, “Only let your manner of life be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of you that you are standing firm in one spirit, with one mind striving side by side for the faith of the gospel.” Philippians 1:27
This night is an opportunity for community groups, moms, daughters, and friends to break bread and fellowship together. Women from many different churches from across the state as well as the women of Henderson Hills are invited to join us for a wonderful night where the Gospel will be proclaimed through teaching and singing, as well as sharing a meal together beforehand. This year our speaker will be Colleen Searcy from Village Church in Dallas, and our Worship Leader will be Eden Trentham from Broken Arrow. (You can read more about them below.)

Speaker: Colleen Searcy
In the early years of ministry, God kindled within Colleen a deep affection for studying and teaching the scriptures. She deeply desires to see women anchor their hope in the God of the Bible as they purposefully pursue Him through the study of His Word. She teaches Bible study weekly at The Village Church in the Dallas, Texas area and speaks at women’s retreats and conferences throughout the year. Colleen and her husband Wes have served in churches together in Florida, Colorado, and Texas for the past 20 years. Read more about Colleen HERE.
Worship Leader: Eden Trentham
Eden believes music is one of the most powerful expressions we have, to heal our hearts, to connect us, and to worship God. She started leading worship in high school after learning a few chords on the guitar, and little did she know that was just the beginning. In May, Eden released her first full-length album called "Faithful" and indeed that is her story, through the highs and lows, from the challenges of ministry and the hardest experience of losing her mother last year, God has and always will be faithful. Eden and her husband live in Broken Arrow, have been married for 2 years and have a one-year-old Aspen. She is head over heels for this girl and loves the new phase of being a mom. Eden’s heart is for worship to be a catalyst for encouragement and connection, and she can't wait to worship with you! Learn more about Eden and her music HERE.
