500 years ago, a little-known German monk named Martin Luther posted his Ninety-Five Theses on the door of the Castle Church in Wittenberg, changing the course of church history forever. Dr. Carl Truman has this to say about Luther: “After Augustine, no single churchman-theologian has influenced the Western church more than Luther over the centuries.” These words still ring true, five centuries after Luther lived and died.
On Wednesday, May 10th, Henderson Hills Baptist Church is hosting Theology Night, covering the life and theology of Martin Luther. Join us for an evening aimed at equipping believers with the knowledge of one who has stood for the faith in the past and the boldness for each of us to do the same today. This is a free event and childcare is available.
