Welcome to the Early Childhood Ministry! We minister to children age birth through pre-K and their parents. Our small group (called FLOCK) classroom activities combine Bible stories, play time, and music to teach children about God the Creator and Jesus’ love for them. Even the babies will hear simple Bible verses and truths repeated to them while they are in our care.
We take every precaution to provide a loving, safe environment for children. All teachers must complete the Reducing the Risk security/safety class program and submit to a thorough background check prior to working with children. A duplicate tag check-in system is used to ensure that children are returned only to their parent or guardian.

Small Group (FLOCK) Schedule & Curriculum
The early childhood curriculum provides age-appropriate learning, fun, and worship. During small group time children connect with each other and to Christ through biblical curriculum, activities and crafts. We encourage preschoolers to respond to each other in ways that reflect Christ as they interact with each other in the classroom environment. Since parents are the primary faith trainers for their children, small groups further support the family by providing teaching resources each week that reinforce the weekly lesson and provide material for parents to use at home.
Children also participate in large group worship, as appropriate for their ages. This activity further deepens the connection with Christ and each other through the worship experience. Children participate in singing, dancing, movements, skits, group prayer and bible truths that supplement the lesson taught during their small group.
Weekend classes for preschoolers are offered during two sessions on Saturday nights and Sunday mornings to coordinate with the times for adult worship and on-campus small groups (FLOCKs).
Children whose parents attend both worship and adult FLOCK will participate in both sessions. While Session 1 and 2 lessons are not identical, they use a level of repetition to facilitate learning.

Child Check-In Process
First-time visitors wanting to place children in classes or childcare should come to the Information Desk in the Early Childhood Ministry area. You will be asked to provide information to enable our staff and volunteers to safely care for your children. This information is confidential and is loaded into our check-in system for faster drop-offs during future visits. Subsequently, drop off of your children will take place at the appropriate classroom.
We use a duplicate tag check-in system to ensure that children are returned only to their parent(s) or guardian.
