Protecting Our Children, Protecting Our Church
Reducing the Risk training is now a mandatory qualification for every person working with preschoolers, older children, youth, and college students at HHBC. A typical RTR training session involves:
- Viewing a 20-minute video
- Reviewing the Reducing the Risk Volunteer Manual
- Participating in a brief discussion
Each participant will be asked to sign the Henderson Hills Baptist Church Resolution Form before leaving the session. Confidential Application forms with a testimony sheet will be provided prior to or are available at the session and will need to be returned as soon as possible. Background checks are completed on all volunteers when applications are received.
RTR training sessions:
2008: April 13th
This training will take place immediately following the Sunday morning worship service at Sangre Ridge Elementary School. Lunch and childcare will be provided.
