Special Needs Ministry

Overview & Small Groups

“I praise you because you made me in an amazing and wonderful way. What you have done is wonderful. I know this very well” (Psalm 139:14).

Henderson Hills strives to meet the needs of all individuals, leading them to a life filled with Christ’s love and a desire to follow God’s plan for their lives. Through Special Ministries we provide a loving atmosphere that nurtures the unique talents and abilities of people of all ages with special needs. It’s also a place where people with developmental disabilities can worship God and know they are accepted and loved unconditionally.

Small Groups (FLOCKs)

Each Sunday morning a Bible study and time of praise is offered for all ages. The Word of God is taught to individuals at an appropriate level of understanding. Our program offers several classes for adults, and children are mainstreamed or attend a special class, depending on individual needs and parental desires. We offer an extended session at 10:45 a.m. for children who are unable to attend the worship service.
