Arizona Mission Trip
High School
Freshmen through seniors on the Tempe, AZ trip will spend their time serving and ministering to Church on Mill, where Chuck Newkirk is the senior pastor. We will spend some time canvassing the local neighborhoods with information about Church on Mill and their ministries, and also work on renovations on some of the Church on Mill buildings. You can pray for us as we travel from Edmond to Tempe, AZ on a charter bus, for opportunities to share the gospel in the area neighborhoods, and that we will be a blessing as we interact with and serve the members of Church on Mill.
College
Ten college students from Henderson Hills will be spending their Spring Break serving in Arizona. We will be primarily working in Guadalupe, AZ. The makeup of Guadalupe is very similar to Apple Village here in Edmond. We will be holding a VBS for three days in the town center. The remainder of our time in Arizona will be spent ministering to college students who attend Arizona State University and helping Henderson Hill's High School ministry serve Church on Mill. Specific ways you can pray for us: the language barrier, that God’s presence will be with us, for the hearts of the kids and students we meet, and our ministry with the Henderson Hills high school students.
Ecuador Mission Trip
Twenty-one high school juniors and seniors in will be going to Ecuador over Spring Break. These students will help run a beach camp for teens from Ecuador. 150 Ecuadorian teenagers are expected to attend the camp. We have been told that about 80% of them have not accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. What an incredible opportunity! Our students will be building relationships and sharing their testimonies daily at the camp services. Please pray for salvation to come and boldness for our students as they share the gospel.
