Choose from the four classes listed down below, designed to help every believer grow...
(Location: Green Room)
Led by Mark Callarman & Elders
What does the whole Bible teach about certain important doctrines of our faith? Come and find out! Theology is the study of God and His Word, and “Systematic” Theology just means that it will be done in an organized way. Taught by Mark Callarman and HHBC elders, this 14-week course will help you learn, apply, and articulate five basic doctrines of the Christian faith. Just come and enjoy class or go all in and enroll for seminary credit (through Spurgeon College / Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary). Either way, you will learn and grow as a follower of Jesus.
(Location: Room W-104)
Led by Elders
Whether you’re new to the faith or a longtime believer wanting a refresher, this walk-through of the Bible will explore its contents and key themes from beginning to end. The Bible can feel intimidating—its people, places, and events can be hard to connect—but understanding God’s Word is essential for spiritual growth. This class aims to make Scripture easier to grasp and remember, helping you see the big picture of God’s story, grow in your faith, and learn to delight in time spent with Him through His Word.
Remember
(Location: W-105)
Led By: Carol Sallee
Remembering is a compelling theme in the Bible. It involves more than just recollecting facts; it means actively recalling God's faithfulness, commands, and past actions to guide present behavior, build faith, and inspire hope. In this 8-week study, you’ll be reminded that for believers and the community of faith there is power in remembering who God is, what He has done, and what He has promised and there is danger in forgetting. Cost is $15. Handouts provided.
(Location: W-106)
Led by Courtney Shettron
If you’re involved in foster care, adoption, or serving vulnerable children, this group is for you! We’ll learn from experts on childhood trauma, hear personal stories from adoptees and foster parents, and connect with organizations advocating for children, like the Hope Pregnancy Center and Boys Ranch Town. Whether you need support, encouragement, or practical resources, we invite you to be part of this caring community.
Any questions, email Courtney Shettron.
