Hermeneutics (Location: Green Room)
Led by Mark Callarman & Seminary Student Staff
God has revealed Himself in Scripture so that His people might know Him and testify of Him. Join Dr. Todd Chipman, Professor at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, to study the art and science of biblical interpretation through the lens of literature, history, and theology. This class is provided through our partnership with Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and taught by HHBC students working on their Master's Degrees.
Discover Disciple-Making (Location: Activities Center)
Led by Phil Sallee
Embrace Henderson Hills' God-inspired vision of disciple-making. Experience a creative Bible study method and learn about how God is calling you, training you, and sending you to make disciples. This 9-week study will follow the three phase command to Jesus' first disciples in Matthew 4:19, "1 - Follow Me, 2 - I Will Make You, 3 - Fishers of Men."
Women's Bible Study (Location: W-105)
To the Ends of the Earth: A study of Acts 13-28 | Led by Carol Sallee | Cost $15
The apostle Paul had a divine calling. His intent had been to put an end to the Jesus movement, but His mission from God was to spread the gospel to the ends of the earth. In Acts 13-20 you will see Paul set out to accomplish God's calling on his life through three missonary journeys. Follow Paul through his persecutions, arrests, trials, and imprisonment in Rome. This 8-week study will challenge you to count the cost of your belief in Jesus, guide you on how to defend your faith, and lead you to desire God's heart for the nations.
