More than anything else, the college years may be a time of questioning. If you're a college student, you may be wondering what you're going to do with your life, or will you find a mate? Or maybe you're asking yourself some tough spiritual questions. What do I really believe about God? Now that my parents aren't making me, do I want to go to church? Does God have a plan for my life? How can I avoid the temptations of sexual impurity? College years can also be a time of loneliness, as you struggle to make new friends and perhaps adjust to living away from home.
The College and International Ministry at Henderson Hills encourages students to grow in their relationship with God and each other through biblical teaching, community-building small groups, and relevant events. The college years are a unique time in one's life and we believe it is during these years that spiritual growth can happen the most. Our ministry strives to bring God glory, to train our students to weave the gospel into their everyday lives, and to see God advance His kingdom.
God has blessed our ministry with our own house near the campus of UCO. It is a place where students minister and are ministered to. It is a house that we can call our own, both for American and International students. We would like for everyone to be a part of "The House" and to use the gifts the Lord has given you to make "The House" all that God intends for it to be.
Whatever stage of life you're in, we want you to grow spiritually, find answers, and make friends. But, more than anything we want you to know God personally and grow in Christian character.
