Radical Mentoring groups are made up of 1-2 older, wiser mentors and 4-8 younger mentees. Groups meet every month for a three-hour meeting for 9-12 months. Each meeting centers around a topic important to every man's life (identity, marriage, prayer, etc.). Along with each topic is a related book to read, 1-2 relevant Scriptures to memorize, and personal and relational growth assignments to be completed outside the group and discussed during the meeting. Mentees meet with one of their other group members during the month and consistently pray for the other mentees and their mentor.
As a young man, how do I:
-- manage to balance work, life, and God and be successful in all?
-- effectively communicate with my wife and resolve conflict?
--be a leader within my own home?
--do something intentional about being close to God and the man God desires me to be?
Discover God's bigger plan for your life. Come along with a coach who has been through what you are about to do. What could that do for the choices you are about to make?
New Radical Mentoring Groups will begin on January 9th. Sign up below to enroll in a group Registration will take place until groups are full. If you would just like to learn more about how Radical Mentoring could be part of your life, contact Chris Wehunt.
Man-to-Man is a mentoring program designed to connect guys (high school age to senior adults) who have been down the road a ways, with younger guys who are looking for opportunities to learn. The common thread may be similar career fields, common interests, or just two guys who love Jesus.
Interested men will be paired and then asked set time aside to get together. It could be meeting for breakfast, lunch, or even meeting for dinner with spouses if you wish. We can supply discussion questions or even discipleship studies to use, but you will decide how to spend your time together and how deep you want to go. If you would like to be involved in this ministry as either a Mentor or a Mentee, sign up below or at the Information Desk in the Lobby.
