HTI Nicaragua Update and Vision Lunch
Sunday, January 27th
12:15 pm, HHBC Choir Room
Did you know that Henderson Training Institute doesn’t only train the Henderson Hills congregation? HTI has been taken internationally to serve, train, and equip Nicaraguan and Honduran pastors.
On December 14th, 2018 the first class of the HTI Nicaragua Seminary graduated. For two years, they received training on topics such as Christ-centered preaching, sound doctrine, systematic theology, biblical counseling, and how to evaluate and hold the scriptures supreme as they lead their congregations.
HTI Nicaragua Seminary is, arguably, one of the most impactful ways HHBC works for the advancement of the gospel overseas. The discipleship of these pastors is key because they are the ones who walk day-by-day, caring for the sheep God has entrusted to them, and trying to reach the ones who have yet to enter the fold. HTI helps to equip and train them for the work God has laid before them, right where they pastor and live. These seminary students will serve not only their communities and churches, but some will also join our efforts around the world as we mobilize them as missionaries. This would not be possible without the generosity of Henderson Hills' members who graciously provided assistance for these pastors to attend seminary classes.
The next class of seminary students has now begun HTI Nicaragua Seminary. As with the first group, these servant leaders covet your prayers.
You're invited to an HTI Nicaragua Update and Vision Lunch on Sunday, January 27th. Please come if you were involved in supporting the last class or if you would like to know how you can support the 2019-2020 class. You will hear updates from the last two years as well as information about the future.
