Ecclesiastes

Instructor: Adrian Savedra
Location: Worship Center

The theme of the book of Ecclesiastes is the necessity of fearing God in a fallen, and therefore frequently confusing and frustrating world. In a world where the search for meaning and purpose encourages mankind to try everything under the sun, Solomon’s conclusions in the book of Ecclesiastes resonate louder than ever for a people who need answers more than ever.

Respectable Sins (part 2)

Instructor: Kevin Nicolin
Location: TBD

We’ll study the second half (roughly) of the book, Respectable Sins by Jerry Bridges, which brings us face-to-face with the sins in our lives that many Christians typically view as acceptable, but certainly aren’t to God. Although not mandatory, students are encouraged to purchase the book (paperback is $15.99 in our church bookstore).

Heroes of the Faith

Instructors: Mike Wall and Josh Wall
Location: TBD

Our goal for this class is to focus on real people who have lived out the gospel in extraordinary ways and learn from their stories. Each week will be a different biography and biblical trait that each man or woman exemplified. Since we ‘are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses,’ let it push us toward Christ.

Church History

Instructor: Kim Swyden
Location: TBD

This is an introductory course on church history; a glimpse of the story of the Church from inception to the Marriage Feast. We will follow the developments of Church history from its beginnings, through the middle decade of the First Century, to the culturally relevant 21st Century.

Living to Leave a Legacy

Instructors: Scotty & Katina Louderback
Location: TBD

This course is designed to help us understand that God has a plan for our marriage and that our struggles and difficulties, as well as our celebrations, mold us and grow our relationship into this beautiful union God gave us in marriage. When we strive as couples to emulate that sacred relationship between Christ and His Bride, the Church, God will use our marriages as an instrument to leave the legacy of Jesus Christ with our kids.
