RECOGNIZING & REPORTING TRAINING

COMMITTED TO SAFETY

At Henderson Hills, the safety and well-being of those in our care is our highest priority. Every leader is entrusted with the responsibility of protecting and caring for our congregation and visitors.

Through Recognizing & Reporting Training, we equip our leaders to identify and prevent abuse involving children and vulnerable adults. Our Caring Well Ministry, under the guidance of the Elder Council, requires all leaders to complete this training every three years to ensure ongoing vigilance and preparedness.

If you are a ministry leader, your ministry director will notify you when it is time to renew your training. Thank you for partnering with us in creating a safe and secure environment for all who walk through our doors.

WHO MUST COMPLETE TRAINING?

Recognizing & Reporting (R&R) is a mandatory qualification for every person working with children (birth - 5th grades), students (6th grade - college), and vulnerable adults at Henderson Hills. It is also required for Adult Community Group leaders, Worship Ministry volunteers, Hillside Café volunteers, and all Ministries of Jesus Ministry volunteers.

The leader of the ministry where you are desiring to serve will contact you and let you know that your background check is clear.

You and the ministry leader can then figure out where and when you will serve.
