About this Sermon...

In 1 Samuel 26 recounts David’s second opportunity to take Saul’s life, yet once again, he chooses to trust in God’s justice rather than taking matters into his own hands. While Abishai urges David to seize the moment, David refuses, recognizing that vengeance belongs to the Lord. His response reveals a heart that is near to God, fully surrendered to His timing and ways. Through Psalm 54, we see David’s confidence in Yahweh as his helper and sustainer, highlighting the difference between knowing about God and truly knowing Him.
