New-Creation Relationships

In Colossians 3, Paul shows how the gospel reshapes our closest relationships marriage, parenting, and work so that they reflect Christ’s lordship. Pastor John Wohlgemuth explained that in Christ, husbands lead with sacrificial love, wives follow with willing trust, parents nurture without provoking, children obey with gladness, and both employers and employees work with integrity as unto the Lord. When our households and workplaces look different from the world, they become a living testimony that Christ truly makes us new.
