Psalm 79: Dealing with Devastation

Psalm 79 walks us through the devastation of judgment, reminding us that God is righteous and takes sin seriously even when the consequences feel overwhelming. Yet in the middle of ruin, the psalmist pleads for mercy based not on human merit, but on God’s glory and faithful name.
