Jesus is Better is a yearlong journey through the book of Hebrews, inviting us to see and savor the supremacy of Christ over every rival and every refuge we’re tempted to trust. As we walk through this book together, our aim is not only to understand these truths, but to treasure God’s Word as it shapes our faith, steadies our perseverance, and anchors our hope. Hebrews calls us to fix our eyes on Jesus and to hold fast, because when everything else fades, Jesus is better.
God calls pastors to shepherd His people faithfully and believers to respond with trust and humility, as both follow Jesus, our perfect Chief Shepherd.
Because Jesus willingly bore rejection to bring us near to God, we can follow Him beyond comfort and approval, knowing a better and lasting home is still to come.
When everything around us changes, we can anchor our lives in Jesus, who never changes, and find the strength our souls need in His grace.
Heavenly citizenship changes how we live here and now, shaping the way we love others, honor God, and find our contentment in Christ alone.
God’s Kingdom cannot be shaken, giving us a sure foundation for our lives and a reason to worship our King with gratitude, reverence, and awe.
Through Jesus, we no longer stand at a distance from God but are welcomed into His presence as part of His eternal family, all by grace.
God calls us to walk each other home, strengthening the weary and pursuing peace and holiness together as we fix our eyes on Jesus.
God’s discipline is not rejection, but the loving work of a Father shaping His children to become more like Christ.
Following Jesus is a lifelong race that requires us to lay aside what holds us back, run with endurance, and keep our eyes fixed on Christ.
