That You May Believe
To try and write down everything that Jesus did during His ministry on earth would be impossible. The Bible itself declares that the world could not contain all the books that would have to be written. So this begs the question: why did God pick the stories that He did? The book of John gives us a peek at the answer in chapter 20, "…these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in His name" (v.31). What are these stories that give us life in His name? What makes them so compelling and why should we believe them?
