Jesus said to them…”As the Father has sent me, even so I am sending you.” John 20:21

Jesus sent His followers out with the good news. To “Live Sent” means we live in such a way to share the hope of Jesus with others. We’d like to challenge you to use this summer to live intentionally for the sake and advancement of the gospel and partner with us in two main ways:

1. THROW A BLOCK PARTY
During the holidays, many of you hosted a block party and were able to build meaningful connections with those in your neighborhood while also inviting them to church. As a follow up, we’d like to encourage you to get together with those same neighbors and invite them to VBS (June 10-13). Bundles of VBS invite cards are available for pick up. If you were unable to participate last year, now is the time to jump in! Block parties can be created with your Community Groups or friends in your neighborhood. Or you can get creative and meet at local parks, share popsicles and invite cards and connect with people that way.

2. JULY 4TH OUTREACH
Make plans to join us on July 4 at 6:30 pm for a community outreach opportunity at the YMCA on Rankin. Wear your HHBC gear and we’ll be passing out glow sticks and 4th of July temporary tattoos while sharing the love of Christ, waiting for fireworks to begin.
